How it works
Check you are listed. Placements attach to a server already on Socketlist. Search for yours; if it is missing, see how to get listed.
Pick a plan and pay. Checkout is handled by Stripe. You get a Stripe receipt immediately.
Tell us what to feature. After payment you land on a short form for your server's repository, a one-line blurb and logo.
We switch it on. We confirm by email, usually within 1 business day.
What each perk means
- Pinned in your category: your server appears first on its category page, labelled Featured.
- Featured badge: a label on your server page and cards.
- Listed on competitors' alternatives pages: your server appears, labelled, on the comparison pages of similar servers in your category.
- Homepage slot: your server card appears in the Featured section of the homepage.
- Custom setup guide: a short written guide for your server, based on your README, that we publish on your server page.
- Monthly listing summary: an email with your score, category rank and any changes since the previous month.
- Sitewide sponsor banner: a one-line labelled banner at the top of every page.
- Plug Weekly slot: a labelled sponsor mention in one issue of The Plug Weekly per month.
What is not promised
Placements do not change your score and do not guarantee traffic, installs or sales. We do not review or endorse your server by selling placement. See the terms for cancellation and refunds, or ask us a question before you buy.
